iPad 2 Will Have two cameras [report] (Mashable)

The next iteration of Apple iPad perhaps a front and a camera facing aft, Reuters reports citing multiple sources.

The information comes from four suppliers of components for the iPad who are preparing for a new cycle of production in the first quarter of 2011. Two of them simply say that they produce the same components as in the original iPad. It is claimed that a new version of iPad is by train, with front cameras and facing the back, while another source said that the iPad 2 be slimmer and lighter, with a better display resolution

These predictions are essentially-brainers, especially the camera, which is already present in the most competitive iPad; excluding the iPad camera 2 would be a great surprise to Apple.

However, with the race heating compressed up to – the market is expected to quadruple by 2012 - Apple want to surprise us with an unexpected feature or two for the next iPad if it wants to maintain its lead ahead of the competition.

Four sources dragged today details of what is expected to be published in the next iPad. Support cases of leakage, a noted that it would double cameras. Shipping times are not mentioned, but a prior point had Foxconn delivered in February for a first April. Component developers often have to begin to make parts for final assembly.

The new model is supposed to be crucial for Apple. Unlike the iPhone or the iPod, the iPad is confronted with major competitors a few months after his arrival. Samsung is already have a modest tabbed Galaxy success but upcoming 3.0 compressed Motorola Android and a set of comparable HTC, LG and others are due show as soon as early as next year. RIM has also planned to establish BlackBerry manual as a major competitor when the first versions of ships at the end of winter.
